Spend the Night at Bangkok’s Asiatique Riverfront

Spend the Night at Bangkok’s Asiatique Riverfront. Having a vacation to Bangkok without inserting an itinerary to Asiatique feels like it’s incomplete. That charm at Asiatique will never be boring because I always feel like I’m not in Bangkok. Asiatique is an outdoor concept tourist spot located on the banks of the Chao Phrya river. Its strategic location and easy-to-reach transportation are the reasons travelers visit Asiatique every time they visit Bangkok.

The Asiatique area is very large, some of its areas are divided into 4 districts. There are four districts, Chareonkrung District, Town square district, Factory District and  which include shopping, theater, restaurants and so on. If you are confused, you can get the map in tourist information for free. If you are still confused about what to do at Asiatique, then you can do this:

Hang out in the Waterfront District

The waterfront district is at the entrance on the bank of the Chao Phrya river. In this waterfront area there is a seat facing the river, I always sit in this area watching the passing ships. The best time is when it is late in the evening, the sky is still clearly visible with the lights starting to turn on.

For the price, said my friend who has surveyed the MBK, it is cheaper in Asiatique. But use bargaining first so that it falls cheaper than the written price, the night is certainly the cheaper. The souvenirs are also very complete, there are shirts, key chains, refrigerator stickers and so on. Unfortunately, I forgot the price of these souvenirs, because I just hung up on friends and didn’t buy souvenirs.

Install a Love Padlock at Juliet Love Garden

In the town square district, there is a juliet statue which is surrounded by an iron fence with colorful padlocks. The concept is like the love lock in Korea. If you want to put a lock while writing your partner’s name, you can buy a love padlock at the entrance to Juliet Love Garden. The price of a love lock is 250 bath, and if you want a photo with a lock it costs 500 bath.

Passport Custom Cover

During the passport custom case at Asiatique it was accidental. Seeing the queue at one of the kiosks in the chareonkrung district, I was curious, it turns out that visitors are busy choosing accessories for passport cases. As usual, I followed the talk and ordered a blue passport cover with knick-knacks. The price depends on how many accessories are attached, I spent around Rp. 50,000, – (Spend the Night at Bangkok’s Asiatique Riverfront)
